Title: Culture of the Bulgarian minority in the Czech Republic in relation to the majority Czech population This thesis inquire into the signs of Bulgarian culture in the Czech republic, presents options and limits of its implementation in focus to interaction of Bohemian a Bulgarian cultural settings. Final discourse combines author's theoretic knowledge with empiric perception of Bulgarian community. The main emphasis of thesis is represented by overreach of cultural territory and historical contacts to contemporary reception of different ethnic minority. Importance of ethnic cultural activities support and urgency of cultural knowledge spreading are also referenced in the text below. CEZ's affair from the point of view of Czech and Bulgarian press

The diploma thesis The CEZ affair from the perspective of the Czech and Bulgarian press deals with the media portrayal of the unrests in Bulgaria in February and March 2013, which were caused by the high prices for electricity that had been supplied, among others, by the parastatal Czech company CEZ. This company became a symbol of the protests. The basis for the analysis and comparison consists of the Czech dailies Mladá fronta Dnes, Právo, Hospodářské noviny and the Bulgarian dailies Trud, 24 chasa and Standart. The reference period is February 2013, when the protests began and subsequently culminated at the end of the month. This work aims to describe how the whole affair was depicted in selected examples of Czech and Bulgarian press. Subsequently, these two approaches are compared. In addition to the analysis, the thesis also touches the topic of modern history of Bulgaria and an outline of Czech-Bulgarian relations. The individual periodicals used for the analysis, as well as the energetical concept of Bulgaria are introduced in order to achieve easier understanding of the entire problem.

Reception of Jordan Radičkov Dramas in Czech and SLovak Area

The thesis will focus on problems of the reception of dramatic opus of Bulgarian prosaist, dramatist and scenarist Yordan Radichkov (1929 - 2004) in the Czech and Slovak area from 1976 (premiere of first drama - January) until nowadays. The thesis will try to discover elements of magic realism, anecdote, comedy and satire which creatively follow fabulative elements and style of folktales in dramas of one of the most famous and world popular Bulgarian author of the 20th century. The thesis will be based mainly on the confrontation of the reception of agreement and difference in the plays staged in two comparison areas - Czech and Slovak. Part of the thesis will be detailed bibliography witch will capture production in Czech and Slovak theatres and their responses in press.
